After our extensive travels back east, we sought refuge in the mountains of Colorado. A familiar spirit of adventure emanated from the western landscapes and it mirrored the ruggedness within ourselves, beckoning us towards higher altitude and colder weather. While most would only see our frozen lake during the softer temperatures of summer days, we had the privilege of capturing its winter glory under a bright full moon.
