When I was falling
You remained by my side

to focus on pride).
As I hit bottom
I could not see light,
In that dark tunnel
(Especially at night).
Inspiration appeared
In the form of a dove,
Wrapped in a paradox
Of horror and love.
When I was falling
You held my heart
Guarding it from
The pain while apart.
Now I will rise,
Independent and new
Creating new pathways,
Empowered in truth.
