On July 9, 2022, a dazzling storm formed over Rio Rico, Arizona. Just before sunset, this incredible rainbow appeared and I hoped for the best. It's always wonderful to capture a gorgeous shot of a bright rainbow, but it takes a special moment to capture a bolt of lightning and the rainbow in that millisecond of time. Thankfully I trusted my intuition and made sure I set up anticipating the moment. Most people likely didn't see the lightning, but I managed to capture the power of this extraordinary moment.
