These trees are close to my hometown and I can see them through all seasons. In the fall, they are not losing their leaves at the same time. Which gives them a complementarity that some couples have.

The story is about two trees that look almost the same, but different in some ways. The contrast in the foreground looks like two paths joining together. A wonderful image. Very meaningful. I am fortunate to have been able to capture using infrared light.

At 850 nm, there is no visible light, creating an image in pure black-and-white. I wanted all the attention on the trees. The infrared light creates a mesmerizing contrast, bringing the best out of Nature.
