Most of us have felt it. Sometimes it's always there and it won't go away.

Emotions can be difficult, repeating and fixing themselves in our mind, combined with the softly spoken (or shouted) yet soundless (to others) words that fill your mind. This loop, this pattern the inability to escape from it is so destructive and soul-destroying.

The pain caused by emotions and thoughts can haunt you for life.

This piece is to remind me that I have controlled the effects of some of the damaging emotions and thoughts that drown my mind daily. The flowers signify the grounding that nature and walking under trees and beside water give me. The bird and the dark background show the emotions. The tears are a reminder that its ok to feel upset but that it important to remember that tears dry up and evaporate.

The message to myself in this image is that I create my own emotions based on how I react to things in my life and I decide how they affect me my emotions do not control me.
