Imagine a pile of sand so tall that you can watch the sun’s last rays as they sweep across the desert floor 600 feet below as day ends.
I’ve mentioned it before, but perhaps my favorite aspect of these desert areas is the constant change. This scene won’t exist this way tomorrow. The patterns will have changed, the entire ridge may have shifted a few feet to the West, and any trace of visitors will be long gone.
