Exploring Japan and navigating through its narrow alleyways and back streets transported me back in time and immersed me to its rich culture and history. The country’s preserved architecture and the people celebrating their customs and traditions are amazing opportunities for photography.

Seeing this beautiful pathway lined with bamboo lamps in Kyoto was a treasure! The traditional houses adorned with the textures of wood, concrete and stones complimented each other while the soft warm lights of the lamps and signs provided the drama. I timed the shot as these three young ladies passed through. Dressed in intricately designed and colorful kimonos, they brought life and vibrance to the scene allowing me to capture this epic piece.
