' Serenity '

I find Serenity and happiness every time I glance my eyes over this Photo. To me, it’s more than a photo, it holds a story, a story of being locked at home feeling powerless, helpless demotivated for over 3 months.

I live in Auckland City, New Zealand's largest city with roughly 1.6 million in population. In August 2021 the city went into lockdown after a single case of Delta Variant was identified in the city.

The city went into complete lockdown immediately with so many unknowns of when we will get out of it. 3 months later, we were finally able to get out and go to our local beaches in the city.

I used to seek the local beaches for refuge to free my creative mind and truly be who I am. This was one of the first moments I captured out of lockdown. The woman resembles the story of being free, walking on the beach with bare feet. Soft and gentle steps enjoying every moment in peace and serenity. Creativity is what keeps my mind free!
