Xiuhuitzolli is the eastern symbol of the Aztec Calendar. It is one of four parts (north, east, south, west). Xiuhuitzolli points to the east where the sun rises. It was told that once a warrior died in war or once somebody was sacrificed they would go to Paraíso del Sol.
