Is it a nebula or a brain? The crescent nebula bursts with red hydrogen and bluish/green oxygen as it floats surrounded by more red hydrogen gas. It is relatively close to Earth at just 4,700 light years away. The nebula is a result of a star shedding its gases and meeting with solar winds.
