Whispered winds, the caring souls,
Nurtured life, the story unfolds,
Devotion - warm, as daylight breaks,
A tender bond, which never shakes.

In gentle hands, we take to mend,
The cracked, the weak, we will attend,
A sapling, small, in trembling earth,
We water roots, to self-worth birth.

Within the soil, our spirits mix,
Life's fabric rich, we weave and fix,
Sustaining growth, a patient art,
In giving, find the counterpart.

This simple image is my effort, as an artist, to explore the role of nurturing another life and in that act how we can often find our own salvation. Caring for another life requires us to focus beyond ourself and that, without intention, can yield connection with another beating heart and bring such comfort.
