This piece depicts a post-apocalyptic scene with emotionless and exhibitive figures, since my whole collection has this post-apocalyptic concept.
The figures are dressed in torn and stained clothes, surrounded by debris and smoke, and stare blankly at the viewer or each other. Their expressions and poses reflect their alienation, despair and detachment from reality. I use digital media to create a contrast between the organic and the artificial, the real and the virtual, the human and the machine.
I employ a mix of realistic and abstract elements, using dark and muted colors, sharp and distorted shapes, and textured and smooth surfaces. My work is inspired by my own existential questions and concerns, as well as by the current social and environmental crises that affect our planet. I hope to provoke a reflection and a dialogue on the role and the fate of humanity in a post-apocalyptic world.
