During my time in Palestine, I spent a fair amount of my afternoons and evenings wandering the chambers of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This holy dwelling was different every time I visited. Priests and nuns held prayers throughout the day and tourists shuffled through the hallways seeking some mystical moment of connection with God.
