Dynamics of Tone and Shade (DOTS) is an art collection created by HyperHex that explores the interplay between light and dark tones in art and how they contribute to the overall mood and atmosphere.

The collection began as physical abstract acrylic pour paintings on canvas, which were then photographed and altered in post-processing to highlight the color palette.

Each piece in the collection contains a palette of 744 dots made up of the colors found in the original painting. By separating the colors and changing the canvas' tone, the viewer experiences the artwork's hues in a new way. The collection also examines the impact of the setting on the viewer's perception and experience of the art.

NOTE* Each "A" piece sits alongside its "B" sibling and is sold as a set. In other words, each primary sale is a 2-for-1 purchase. When "A" is purchased, "B" is manually transferred to the corresponding wallet. This juxtaposition is required for each piece to make sense in the overall theme.
