On October 29th, 2011 at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, CA - I experienced God at a Shpongle Concert. I had taken 2C-B, a triple stack of ecstasy, 2 tabs of acid, and I decided to try DMT for the first time.

As I exhaled, sacred geometry patterns began to emerge, altering cortical travelling waves. My consciousness evolved. Through the traveling paths of visualized neurons, my sight landed on a symmetrical pattern of limitless energy. The force from it was powerful.

In that moment, confetti exploded from the ceiling. One of the PVC pipes attached to the tall ceiling broke off and landed on my shoulder. At the end of it was a large sharp piece of metal. A few inches to the right and it would have impaled my head. And it was then, I realized, I just saw the face of God and nearly died.

This piece embodies that profound, life changing experience. A memory I will never forget.
