According to the greek legends Medusa was a monster with snakes for hair & a gaze that could turn people to stone. She was once a beautiful woman until Poseidon raped her in Athena's temple, leading Athena to curse her & transform her into a monster.

If the story were altered, Athena would punish Poseidon instead, becoming a protector of women & an enforcer of justice. Athena's curse would turn Poseidon into a monstrous creature with a power reflecting his crime. The curse would leave Poseidon humbled and begging for forgiveness. This version of the story would serve as a cautionary tale about entitlement, holding perpetrators accountable for their actions, highlighting that no one is above the law. Justice will be served.
