“Tapashya” (Perseverance) is the way of life. Perseverance or “Tapashya” as we call it in Hindi, is one of the ways to reach God according to Hindu Mythology and this picture can be a prime example of this. The only way to reach your goals is “Tapashya” or perseverance, we as Hindus hear this since our childhood.

This old man, with his body balancing on the stick and his one leg had to wait 9 to 10 hours in line during winter just to get his soul washed by God. I salute his determination and his strengthened soul to have the courage to do so. Maybe this is what religion teaches us, to live life in a correct way.
