đź“ŤMekong Delta, Vietnam
In a region where most make a living through agriculture, the fertile land surrounding the Mekong River is a crucial life source to millions across the 6 countries it flows through. This is especially prevalent in southwest Vietnam where the Mekong splits into nine arms and has therefore come to be known by locals as the Nine Tailed Dragon. It’s waters are used throughout massive networks of canals throughout the region to keep crops irrigated.
