“White Paper" is an array of 88 Urumqi road signs and A4 white papers. This is a space for people to gather, to mourn, and to express freely. Each road sign is an NFT. People can take these road signs outside of this exhibition and put them up all over the Metaverse. In a world where geographical barriers are hard to traverse and freedom of speech is not allowed, can Metaverse be our secret tunnel, or will it be another AI-enhanced highly surveilled space like the current internet in China?
