Ono Castle rises in the center of a basin surrounded by mountains on all sides in Ono City, Fukui Prefecture. Every year from October to the end of April, when all the weather conditions are right, a sea of clouds appears and the castle looks as if it is above the sky, which is why it is called the mythical castle in the sky. The castle in the sky can only be seen about 10 times a year, and among them, it is quite rare to see the entire basin covered by a sea of clouds. I was very impressed to be able to capture this fantastic view, which is worthy of being called the "Castle in the Sky".
