The goal of this exhibition is to showcase the talents of black artists who create artwork that goes beyond the subjects of social-political commentary and cultural symbolism. It is driven by the belief that black artists are often put into a box, their narratives predetermined based on societal expectations. By deliberately distancing oneself from those preconceptions and embracing individuality, this exhibition aims to commend the artists’ admirable choice to carve their own path.
