Los Angeles - September 2017 :: Monica had found herself again back in L.A. As what became our routine if one was in the others city she had reached out seeing if we could shoot while she was visiting. Informing me she had a nice room over in Beverly Hills that could work as our location we set up a day and a time to make it happen. Since 2016 I dove deeper into black and white photography and I was still exploring it here.

When I arrived she on this amazing robe that flowed when she walked and I immediately suggested to her that we should shoot in it. Seeing her move about the room in such way that it made it feel like the confidence was flowing right out of her making the robe move. We shot a couple of frames of her striding across the space until getting that right one. To me this photo demonstrates beauty and power in a single moment.
