I remember I was sitting at home, looking outside my window about 2 hours before sunset. The weather was very cloudy to be able to see the sunset.
However I decided to pack up my photography gear and head to Bethells Beach on the West Coast of Auckland City in New Zealand. Once I got to the beach, the clouds opened up just so slightly to be able to see the sunset. The orange reflections of the sunset on the clouds and the ocean is so perfect. I couldn't imagine a better sunset!
I was so glad that I got off the house and decided to go out for a sunset adventure no matter what the weather looked like, at the end of the day it's all about the journey for me!
So, the lesson I learnt from this was to always go out and shoot no matter what the weather or the time of the day is, just be creative and enjoy the process!
The Collector of this piece will recieve an A3 print of this and a short 10 second video of this very sunset that I filmed on that day!
