Dempsey and Firpo painting depicting the September 14, 1923 boxing match between American Jack Dempsey and Argentine Luis Firpo by George Bellows inspired me to create this piece of art.

I am creating this to visualize the dramatic moment Firpo Pepe knocked out Pepe Dempsey at the Pepeland Boxing Tournament, despite Pepe Dempsey's eventual victory.
