The Ozo is the most honourable title in Igbo land conferring the titleholder nobility, a sign of wealth and prosperity. The Ozo is said to be a living representative of the ancestors, the conscience of the society, and the custodian of truth. 
It is expected the Ozo helps the community and his presence in the community should be felt via elevating the standard of living of those around him and upholding justice.

In the portrait, two proverbs are inscribed in Igbo and their corresponding English translations. The first means, one's fate cannot be foretold by how one started. The second translates to; the individual who is privileged to eat with a spoon shouldn't forget the needy who scrap for food with bare hands.

The butterflies and the first proverb represent my growth as an artist in the NFT space.
