This digital painting, drawn from observation, means a lot to me because I was a teenager when I painted it. I was absolutely amazed and inspired by Grimes. This painting captures my spirit in a moment in time where I felt like anything was possible. Through my painting, I managed to push my own artistry and limits in terms of digital art at the time.

I personally handed a copy of my painting to Grimes during her tour while she was at the Metropolis theatre in Montreal on November 21, 2015.
