Crystals are used by mages to cast spells, they usually crack or shatter after use and their remnants scatter around emitting colorful sparkles. However, this specific one is special, still intact and used as an arcane prison for a malignant force. Long ago, the Legendary Wizard Ilieus sacrificed his life to cast a powerful spell and trap Meduclaa, a vicious monster from another dimension.
