To paraphrase the late, great author Ursula K. Le Guin, artists should be judged by their work---not what they say about it. That said, there is no hidden symbolism. There is no hidden commentary about race or gender equality. It has nothing to do with hair styles. It's all about beauty. Even the most weird, horrific image can be beautiful if done well. I do strive for beauty in all my art.
