"Tokyo Nightmare" is an anime movie from 1997 that was formerly only released for the home video market and reissued in dvd in the 00s. On the plain of reality we inhabit apparently this movie has never existed. The summary of the plot, according to some internet users coming from different dimensions:
2097: After the spreading of a mysterious bug called 辺獄, humanity was forced to adapt in order to survive. Tokyo is only one of the cities cursed with incursions from mysterious figures coming from an alternative plain of reality. Cyber Humanoids and Electric Devils are being created through the development of an occult science called Black Math, taking place after the spreading of the bug itself. The Psychonaut Z, another child of scientific experiments, gets in telepathic contact with other psychonauts in order to face this emergency.
