The drive between ranch headquarters to Anderson House, where I spent part of my time, was really quite special.

The valley stretches out before me, an endless sea of green rolling down from where I stand. The hills on either side cradle this vast expanse like gentle hands protecting the happy cows. What strikes me most is the sky - it's absolutely enormous, with puffy white clouds scattered across the intense blue like cotton balls. They cast shifting shadows on the grasslands below.

In the distance, those magnificent mountains pierce the horizon, their peaks still holding snow even in the warmer months. And there, off to the left, nature is putting on quite a show - I can see curtains of rain falling from dark clouds, creating that distinctive stormy haze that makes the mountains look almost purple.
