Catalysts happen through the spontaneous transformation of a Foundling. Only two Foundlings in a generation will transform into a power amplifying Catalyst so they are extremely rare and elusive.

It’s not fully understood what exactly triggers a Catalyst to evolve but it has been seen to occur in times of great collective celebration or struggle. They amplify not only their core element but that of matching elements around them. Often found with ‘light’ or ‘dark’ auras depending on what needs to be balanced when they transform.

The second Catalyst to emerge in this generation is an all powerful earth element. Only those with the strongest will and visionary mindset can host a Catalyst.
