My artwork speaks to a longtime theme in my practice: the tradition of women who bring water to their communities. Water gives life, and women have historically been the ones to retrieve water for their families. I juxtapose the idea of women as vessels in a spiritual sense. Emptying our 'cups' makes room for bigger things in our lives. Let us reach our big goals by reflecting inwards and pinpointing our passion that will allow more abundance to flow to us like water.
