Fear had gripped the entire rat city. The rat councils held emergency meetings to find this mysterious killer. At night, when the city was enveloped in silence, only the sound of Volta’s broom could be heard in the wind, and the next morning, more posters appeared on the city’s walls.

After weeks of searching, the rats realized that Volta never intended to kill them; due to her loneliness and the pain of being rejected for loving the rats, she had been taking them away from this dirty and ugly world to another place, where a better and more peaceful life awaited them.
The rat city became empty, but there was no more fear.
