Growing up, we were always told those who read could build empires. We were told the educated were the leaders of tomorrow. And now? We have grown to see that in the struggle to acquire this education, many lose hope. The system does not allow for this education to be relevant to those who acquire it. We are lost in what education may truly mean. Let us turn our pages back and shine the light on the ways of our ancestors, let us learn what they did, let us turn the pages to the history of the foreign, those who have done it better than us. Let us learn how to fix it.
