Watching a human transform into a tiger sounds surreal. But as “Navarathri” season sets in and marks the arrival of the goddess, every street witnesses tigers on two feet roaring and dancing around to celebrate the entirety of her magnificence.

Note: Tiger dance, famously known as ’Hulivesha’ in Kannada or ’Pilivesha’ in Tulu is a unique form of folk culture especially found in Tulunadu region of Karnataka.
