"Secret Irish Garden," from my Irish Doorways and Windows series, captures the rough-hewn splendour of the countryside of the Emerald Isle.

In the 19th Century, this stone doorway opened into the walled garden of a private estate, now overgrown and abandoned, in County Clare, Ireland.

I've added this spectacular view from out over Ireland's Burren region to breathe new life into this scene.
