When I woke up today, the first thing I saw was this text message from pops who was recently diagnosed with C-Diff. Retired Chef & Sheriff barely living off pension. My personal situation is documented in the Biography section at Dutchyyy.xyz but Long Story Short, I am barely surviving myself. When I began minting onchain I had hope Art / Music would be valued. That hope has been crushed. The next thing I saw after waking up was marketing for Zora & Rodeo. My spirit can’t handle this. The internet is cooked, Artists stand no chance. I should have choice a different path in my long life. I say that in the moment, but I never relied on art to survive. 2020 impacted my entire life & set off a domino effect of disparity. I don’t know how to reply to my pops. I just know this makes me hate interacting with this technology so much more knowing the builders give zero f*cks about anything but survival even at the cost of devaluing art. - SonofZiggy
