This work is a tribute to women of colour or of African descent and in my home country Nigeria that made and are still making indelible impact in the world. The subject is lighted against a dark background to signify the struggles they had to overcome to achieve great feats. The names are culled from all walks of life: from government to business to activism, literature to sports and lifestyle. The names are strategically placed to accentuate the roles these women played in society.
