In those moments I was biding my time,
I could only imagine the passion I’d find.
The brilliant colors of life outside,
the ideas that now float free in my mind.
Glorious flowers I once couldn’t see,
unexplained joy permeates me.
Chaotic activities flurry around,
I am finding these sights quite profound.
Everything I had not seen in years,
dissolving all of my undescribed fears.
I can only imagine what more I will see,
now that I choose to live joyfully.
