Introduction

In Greek mythology, the Muses are goddesses of various arts, such as music, dance, and poetry. Blessed with wonderful artistic talents, they also possess great beauty, grace, and fascination. Their gifts of song, dance, and entertainment help the gods and mankind forget their troubles, and inspire musicians and writers to go beyond intellectually and artistically. In this collection we present the three original muses and the nine muses of Olympus in a total of 12 paintings.

About the Collection

With this collection, the author wanted to give a more modern look to the representation of the muses, moving away from the more classical approach we are used to and bringing in a more spiritual dimension while maintaining all the classical references that characterize each muse, whether through the musical instruments that accompany them or the symbolism that defines them.

The collection was created using A.I. based on original sketches created by the author where the planes and colors were defined, and then on prompts duly sculpted to create the desired atmosphere and style of the work. It was thus possible to give coherence to the whole collection, allowing the work to form a cohesive whole.

However, this initial work was only half of the work needed to finalize each image. The other half was done in Photoshop to add the characteristic elements of each Muse in each image, be they the instruments or the symbolic motifs that characterize them, something that the A.I. was unable to introduce. Meticulous work was also needed to correct imperfections, particularly with the hands, and all the post-production work was done to balance the colors and contrasts.
