Christine Sun Kim

This collection is an extension to my “Time Owes Me Rest Again” mural on 40x100 foot wall at Queens Museum in New York (March 2021 - January 2022). It depicts a group of drawings each representing the five words in the title (“Time,” “Owes,” “Me,” “Rest,” “Again”) in American Sign Language (ASL). The signs were chosen for their hand motion involving the hand(s) touching with the signer’s body, plus I used the motion lines as seen in comics.
