we did this shoot at kuyalnik estuary in Odessa.
It used to be the sea back in the day, and later due to the natural changes, it turned into an estuary that dries up every year and is at risk to completely disappear.

people come to the estuary to be healed of their ailments driven by a belief that salt and mud are health giving, and that the properties of a dying place would improve their life and health.
