The Carnaval de Oruro in Bolivia is one of UNESCO's Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity and has taken place since the 18th century.

In 2011, I went to my first Carnaval. The spectacle I witnessed, including all the unique costumes and dances, filled my heart with joy.

This collection is a story of creativity, expression, and a celebration of Bolivian culture through dance and music. As a Bolivian-American, these memories remind me of La Patria (the homeland).
