Over the past 2 years, I have trained a number of models in gestural painting to explore the extent to which AI abstract art can convey meaning and feel as spontaneous as analog mark-making.

This series depicts the fickleness of joy as a metaphor for the evasiveness of abstraction. It's also my contribution to the discussion of whether AI art is Art.
