Maikeloneo

In the series "Syncretic Rituals" collide my studies of the traditional forms of Japanese Ukiyo-e and the extensive Yoruba mythology. Both Japanese and Yoruba culture come from distant spaces in history, but at the same time, they belong to a single global chord, in which both strike the same note. 
With this hybridization I seek to create a sign that, without being exclusively Yoruba, Cuban or Japanese, can be understood by any of these cultures, even if it is expressed in a completely new lang
