James Arax

For several years James has been working on performance presence painting. This is an entirely filmed painting session made with a person who remains close to James during the performance. The session lasts a few hours during which he creates large paintings called the MATRIX (78.7x66.9in). The MATRIX gives rise to peripherals artworks: photos, videos, paintings. Here, James captures on different mediums the essence of the unique moment spent with a person for a few hours.
