The British coast is more than a physical boundary. It’s a psychological space; an identity. It is our first meeting, our final goodbye, and a place to take a breather – a melding of all that is British. North, South, East, West; a sense of ubiquity. Each seaside town is an amalgam of tastes left by the tumbleweed arriving from every corner. In a sea of uncertainty, there is comfort in escaping to this strange familiarity.
