Esù is one of the most enigmatic entities in the cosmogony of West African religions. He crossed the Ocean with the slave trade route, adapted to new territories and challenges that came with forced labour and lack of freedom. For 3 years, Cristina De Middel and Bruno Morais followed his path to build a document that comes as a reaction to the advance of Evangelical churches across Africa and South America that is challenging the survival of an endangered cultural heritage.
