Inspired by my own experiences of being misdiagnosed and wrongly medicated throughout my 20s, I aim to highlight the limitations of an inefficient and poorly designed medical system. 

Throughout history, the mentally ill have faced mistreatment, torture and neglect. Previously socially accepted treatments are now considered outrageous, inhumane and absurd. Each piece represents a condition, paired with a ludicrous or ineffective treatment.
