Kelly Hsiao

“Oceans Apart” is a short dance film by filmmaker/performer Audrey Billups. Shot and produced in Maui, the film brings awareness to the dangers of abandoned fishing nets, one of the most damaging types of plastic for marine life.

Underwater photographer Kelly Hsiao, captured these images during the making of the film, to be premiered in spring/summer 2022 on Maui.

A portion of proceeds will be donated to fishing net removal and ocean cleanup.
